PRS makes amps now? Wait a second, acoustics too?!

I don't know how much news this is to anyone, but I was looking through my newest Sweetwater catalog and apparently PRS now makes amps and acoustics.

They look gorgeous!

They make more than one model of both, but those 2 stood out to me the most.

ughhh that styling....so over-the-top californiaish. It would be interesting to hear it in action though.
 
They have had a go at both before. The acoustics never came out, and the amps (the justly not famous PRS Harmonic Generator - it's a solid state amp trying to be a tube amp, and failing - I've got one, great clean, the distortion sucks) were discontinued after about 350 of them. I'm holding on to mine until some idiot decides they should be collectible and I can get more than $300 out of the POS.

I have no idea if these will be more successful. The amps, at least, seem a waste to me, as Mesa already makes an amp as boring, bland, and soulless (but well executed) as a PRS guitar.
