Problem with burning CDs in Wavelab.

Phildo

I heart guitars!
OK, so my setup's been fine. Until the last couple times I've tried to burn CDs from a montage on Wavelab. I'm on v5, and although it's never recognised the drive in my laptop as something it can burn to, it's always been happy to read stuff from it. That's not been much of a problem, though, as I've got an old Yamaha USB CD drive lurking around, which Wavelab DOES recognise as something it can burn to.

Until now. Can't burn to anything. Just get long error messages saying "Nuts to you, Charlie. I'm not going to do anything for you today. Have a free coaster". Or something like that. It's not the speed - it even dies when trying writing at 1x speed.

Anybody experienced any similar problems? Or is my Yamaga CDR drive dead?

HELP!!!

Phil.

Have you updated supported CD's lately? Could be the burner too... I had an old Yamaha SCSI burner that - even though WL thought it looked OK - just stopped working. I switched to a Plextor on that ol' box and everything worked fine.
