Pro Tools LE track Number Concerns

Hey guys, ive been interested in eventually switching over to pro tools le this summer but i have a concern. Right now i use Adobe Audition 1.5 and average around 40-50 tracks per session. From what i have been reading Le only supports 32. From those who do use LE, does it seem like theres enough tracks to record a full band's sessions with double tracked guitars and whatnot but not be limited to much by the track amount?

How the hell did they ever make records on those old 24 track tape machiney doohickies?

Other than being irritated that there is that screwy limitation... its never been a problem for most of the work I do. If you regularly use more than 32 then PT LE is probably going to cramp your style.

If its important to have Pro Tools for some reason then you'll have to learn a new style. (shrug) It works. It has its limitations. You can either work with/around them or you can't.
