Hello. I am pretty new to using Pro Tools and I need some advice or suggestions. When I try to bring up tracks to record etc I keep getting an error message of H/W Buffer. I have it to 512 which is recommended but it still gives me that problem. I was informed to check my RAM (which is at 4gb). Could it be that I'm using Vista 64 I'm getting this problem? I appreciate any feedback that is given. I'm only using it to record vocals as well. I won't be doing anything larger than that until I get a machine solely dedicated to a studio. Is there a minimum or certain settings I could alter to make this not be a problem. I would think it would be easier seeing as I am not recording multiple tracks at once. Thanks
