If you take your privacy and anonymity seriously, I suggest that you check out www.protonmail.ch. It was developed by two guys from MIT who work on the CERN particle accelerator. It is based in Switzerland and is truly private. It is free, but there is a two or three month waiting period before you will receive it. If you believe you truly have the right to privacy and the right to communicate with others privately, then check it out.
