I don't know about the Audio Buddy, but IMO there is a significant difference between the small Beh mixers and the DMP3 (I own both). The Beh pres are brittle/harsh in comparison (the DMP3 is clean yet warm--and smooth, and the stereo imaging on the DMP3 is much better than the Beh. If it were me, I'd skip the Audio Buddy and save a little more for the DMP3. My Beh has been relegated to a headphone amp.
