Presonus Firestation or Firepod?

can anyone tell me what the diffrence is betwen the firestation and firepod. I am looking for an interface with at least 8 mic lines, good pre-amps and a clean recording. if anyone can give me some info it would be extremly helpful. thanks

presonus doesn't make the firestation any more. also the firepod can be looked at as a revised firestation. they corrected a lot of the problems that the firestation had. if you are curious you can go to presonus.com or speak with tech support. they are really cool and helpful at presonus.
