Hello,
I have been dealing with a Phantom Power issue which I may have resolved by replacing the LM317HVT voltage regulator. But I have not closed it up yet. I have been guessing with a Simpson meter at how this preamp is wired up and it's been very frustrating. I've seen a few schematics on the internet on preamps and Phantom Power but nothing seems to agree with my Presonus. If you're wondering, Presonus will not let me see the schematic. It is against their policy. I wanted to take some notes before I close it up but it's difficult and tedious without a schematic. If anyone has a schematic and would like to share it, it would help me a lot. Right now, I would appreciate even a verbal description or a sketch of the Phantom power circuit and how the voltage gets from the regulator to the XLR input. There is also a Phantom Power switch involved.
As I said before, there is something about this BlueTube preamp that is different than the typical preamp schematics I've seen on the internet.
