I use a VS-880EX, and I would like to use it "in the field", so to speak. More or less, I want to take it out for short distances, and record some things that are outside, but not near to a power source.
I have limited monetary resources, but I have seen "power inverters" at my local Wal-Mart (ick!) that claim to be able to supply power from a car battery and turn it into power that I can plug into to power laptop computers, etc... how reliable is something like this? Is it a good idea to use this type of thing with an 880? Are there other solutions, some sort of moveable power source that is available?
I don't need tons of recording time, maybe just a half hour or so.
