Hi Everyone,

This is a new one I'm working on.
The tech. guys over in the other forum are trying to help
me ou on proper recording of Gina's sax tracks, so they're
up in the mix...
The subject of this song is a parent's worry when their kid
moves to the city and falls on hard times...

Watcha think????

Postcard

Verse

You left angry
Without saying a word
You think you've been betrayed
Or so I've heard
Now I worry you're a child
That can't be found
And I dream of having you around

Chorus

Take the next plane home
That's all you gotta do
Take the next plane home
Cause I truly do love you

And I live to hear you say
That you've come back to stay

Bridge:

When momma bird teaches her babies to fly
They find their wings once they try
But if life is swirling round and round
I want to help you
Put your feet on the ground

Verse

Sure things went wrong
And didn't last
But you'll get eaten up
Living in the past
Please take a chance
And let's make a start
I ask you
From deep inside my heart

Chorus and fini

Hi Analog4.

I like that song.
As a parent, and I take it you are too from one of your posts in another thread someplace, I've been down that road and know of it's turns and twists.

The lyrics are great.
What I like about it is the structure of your song.
It's different, catchy.

Have you posted it in the MP3 forum? They might beable to help you with some of Gina's sax tracks. I heard your songs before but now they don't come up. :( I think I replied to your post about pumping up the sax a bit.
Anyway,,,,,,

Good luck you guys. Good song.

Hi badgas,

Ive got my songs posted over at Waldo's

http://www.nowhereradio.com/geegee/singles

teah, my sax recording is rough---the tech guys are working on it.

All this stuff is in the draft form and has to be redone--
Thanks for the catchy comment--That's kinda what I'm
looking for--a catchy sound with some emotion..
Major problem is a lack of collaborators to pull this type of
sound off properly---just Gina and I-----The stuff needs
colour and push--hard with a duo.

Analog good lyrics..........the emotion is definately there........

I'll give it a listen tomorrow when I'm at work and I have a cable modem......lol work loves when I spend their time downloading mp3's.....
