Our part of the world - a little village by the water and backing onto a splinter of the Great Dividing Range known locally as The Escarpment. Just a general store, a booze shop, a couple of cafes & the kiosk down at the beach (not a good one for swimming - too many rips - I think you can see a couple from the snap).
Nb: the A doesn't mark where I am - too many trees to find my place from the air - can't get cable or satellite and we have barely enough signal for a mobile phone.

We've got one grocery store for the whole valley and the nearest "Walmart", or supermarket, is more than 40km (about 25 miles) away
