How do you change the space bar so that it does not take the location bar back to the scrub bar thingy?
I would like it to just stop wear it is like it does in Cubase?
Cheers..

Have you used Cubase?
I love Cubase...
How do you get the scissors, hand, glue and other tools in Reaper? I want to split an audio track?

Click on the track where you want to split it; make sure that the start line thingy (scrub bar?) moves to that spot; hit 's' for split.

By default ctrl+space is pause, but I'm pretty sure you can remap the buttons...

Preferences (ctr+p (or probably apple+p on mac))
Keyboard->Show actions window
Type "stop" in the text bar
Click "Space"
Click "Space" in the shortcuts section below.
Delete
Custom actions->New...
Type "pause" into the filter box
Drag play/pause over to the right box.
Name your action
OK
Type your actions name into the filter box
Select it
Click "Add" next to shortcuts (where you deleted space before)
Hit space
OK
Close out your menus, and you're good to go!

Hey thanks!

Yes. It is inferior in every way imaginable.

Really? Like what?
Cubase is amazing and the most logical sequencer I have used out of Logic, Protools...?
Some of the options are in strange places in Reaper, and why do you have to use thekey board for all the tools surely there is a little window that has everything in it? Like Slice is pressing "S" yeah but where is the button?
Thanks for your help guys.
I am seriously close to converting. Mainly because the performance is so much better in Reaper...
