I took everyone's suggestions and remixed the song. what do you guys think?

Maybe it's just me but the drums sound really drowned out to me, and the backup vocals are way too loud.. and I hear a lot of pumping from a compressor possibly.

I don't know that I heard the first mix, but here's my impressions of this one.
Your guitar tone sounds good. I don't think the rhythm guitars need to be changed at all; though the lead is a little hard to pick out sometimes.
The fade in at the beginning was kind of weird but not neccessarily bad.
The cymbals are really overwhelming during some parts, but the rest of the drums are too buried.
I think inmyheartx is right about the compression.
Am I the only one who reads that file name as "NPR e-mix"?
