POD/Boss pedal board set up question

I have a question that has been on my mind for sometime.

Let me know if this type of set up would work. Thanks.

- Either a Boss or POD modeler into a....
- PA type power amp. Maybe a QSC or something that would put out 2-300 watts per channel
- Into two guitar cabs that can handle the power in stereo.

Will the PA type power amp produce a high head room, high volume sound and will it reproduce the pedals sound nice a crisp?

Remember the pedal board IS the pre-amp and would be responsible for producing all the tone.

Are the pedal boards like that compatible with the PA type power amps?

Yes you can do that but full range PA speakers would probably work better than guitar cabs.
