The Scenario:
I am mixing a demo that is about 30 tracks on Cubase SX. I need to add reverb to vox, strings, and maybe drums. The plugs I have do not sound very good. I have a chance to use a TC electronics M-One XL unit which has balanced XLR in/out and s/pdif in/out and midi in/thru/out. I also have a SB audigy platinum sound card.
Q:
Is it possible to run selected audio tracks out from the 428 to the M-One for processing and then back to the comp via the 428 or would I need to use the sound card and if so will I be recording a new track with the effects applied? I know this device has a digital in/out - will that send and recieve the audio at the same time? Thank you-
