I'm sure this is an idiotic question, but this is my first time to record. My problem is with the stereo mic bar I've screwed onto my "boom" - It has two bolts which allow you to screw on the mic holders, but I can't seem to screw the mic holders on all the way (the mic bar bolts are a bit longer than the mic holder shaft they screw into), so both bolts have a lot of play - is this how it should be? Or do I need to get something to be able to tighten them down? Many thanks for any advice!
