hi.
So another computer got struck by lightning....again....
So I am now trying to use a lap top to record....
I have the same set up as I had on my PC (which caused no problems.)
Set Up:
Digital 4-track (acting as my digital interface LoL) is running a line out (RCA) into the laptop LINE IN.
It looks like the Laptop is using a program called Sigma Tel Audio (drivers i guess)
Problem:
When I run an audio signal in, and arm a track in Vegas the Meter Reads the signal on the Track Fader.
The Master Fader shows no signal...
There is no sound emitted from my Laptop speakers, or a pair of head phones if I plug those in.
If I record the signal, it will play it back through the speakers.
I need the recording monitor so that I can perform with the other tracks...
I am guessing that the signal flow is being stopped at the master fader. How can I make vegas monitor the recording????
