please critique my mixing

I've been spending a lot of time the last several months trying to improve my mixing skills. I would appreciate any constructive criticism of these 3 songs I have recorded in my studio. Say whatever you would like about any aspect of the songs, but what I am really most interested is a discussion of my mixing, more than looking for comments on my song writing or musicianship.
Thanks for any advice.

I like the songs, interesting stories. Mixes sound good, maybe a little muddy in the mid lows? Nice in control use of reverb. Great guitar work. Maybe a little pitchy on vocals in a few places, but perhaps that adds to your style. All the parts are distinct, good use of panning and eq. Drums sound good, nice well rounded organic mix. Good crack to snare, solid kick(maybe a little more definition), cymbals sound great. That said, I would hardly qualify as an expert. Take it with a grain of salt.

when your on the ride and cymbals it sounds really tinny and high... im guessing you boosted the 5k and up range? i wouldnt do that.

everything sounds kind of dull, vocals dont sound too bad.

what sort of things could I do to make it sound less dull? (unless you mean the songs themselves, or the arrangements, in which case I would have much work to do)
