Playing my iTunes through an Mbox 2 set up?

Right now I have my MOTU 828mkII sort of functioning as my Audio Recording interface as well as my home stereo. I have iTunes on my PC, and I have the audio in my PC routed so that iTunes plays through the MOTU drivers out through the 828mkII and through my Mackie HR624 monitors. It's great this way, because during an audio session I can pop over to iTunes and listen to a CD and go back and forth all through the 828mkII.

Would I still be able to do that with the Mbox2 if I bought one? I want to donwscale my home studio and sell the MOTU (along with a lot of other stuff) but I want to know if I am going to have to go back to using the Intergrated sound device that came with the PC for listening to CD's/MP3s or if just an Mbox2 can handle that like the 828 has.

What do you guys think?

Michael

It shouldn't be a problem at all. As long as Windows' sound devices output is set correctly to the corresponding output of the Mbox...it should be all good.
