Sorry couldnt get attachment to work properly.
Studio demensions are 2x - 2.5 by 3.6m rooms.
I am building from scratch.
As you can see i only have the recording room soundproofed completely i live 40m+ from the nearest neighbour.
The control room will be normally insulated.
I am lining the walls with plasterboard which i hear absorbs bass. Is this true?
What kind of setup would u have in this room in regards to acoustic treatment, and DAW placement.
I dont want to spend a fortune on acoustics but i want it done right.

Thx for the advice

I've posted many times about the right acoustics setup. I did today, so just follow the same plan as this for your control room. Imo, you want to centre your mixing position on the shortest wall, and be sitting 38% of the room length 1.37m from the wall. You want an qualateral trangle with your head and the speakers. You want to treat the wall-wall corners with 4-6" rigid fiberglass panels straddeling the corner, and more corners if possible(wall-ceiling). Then the first reflection points, side, ceiling and back wall, with 2" rigid fiberglass minimum.

For live room, i think it should be flexible. So plain, with broadand absorption gobos.
