Pine board on walls.

Anyone use pine board on the walls of there studio? I love the sound of rooms in music stores where they have done this. It is usually in the acoustic guitar room where they do this, would it be to sound reflective in a regular band setup situation ?

My control room is tongue-and-groove pine, with the t&g running in different patterns. This as, like you, I love the natural sound of wood.
There are some pics of it on John S' site.
However, my use is in combination with various methods of diffusion and trapping.

I have one wall in my controll room that's tongue & groove that's put up diagonally. Same place for some pics at John's site.

I have one end wall in the main studio covered with tongue and groove pine...I wanted this for esthetic puposes as well as reflective...none on the control room walls however, I wouldn't care for that...not that there's anything wrong with it... :D
