Bought one about six years ago and I love it. well it developed a cracking noise and I couldn't find the problem (intermittent)
I had to send it back to England, Shaun replaced the output stage and did a mod to quell some hums at high gain and since he had it there anyway, replaced the input stage as well.
He did this all for nuthin. Man, that's quality backup!
Just wanted you all to know there is still some companies that will do whatever it takes to keep you up and running!
It is also one great sounding preamp and I heartily endorse the Phoenix line!
