Phantom Power Question

When I turn the phantom power on to use condensor mics is it okay to record with dynamic mics at the same time through the same board?? Or does having phantom power go to the dynamics hurt something?? Ive never had to do this since ive always just recorded 1 track at a time but now im going to and just wanted to make shure I don't break something.

Not a problem.I use condensors and dymanics simultaniously.I do avoid spikes hitting the dynamics by turning the phantom power on first (then plugging them in) and reverse at the close of a session.May not even be necessary,but I am cautious.
