Alright, heres what my setup is looking like.

tracktion2
Symphonic Orchestra Silver (20-24 vst instruments at a time)
3 M-audio 1010lt soundcards for 24 track out
24 ananlog mixer

I would like to know what pc requirements you would recomend to make all of the above usable (no glitches etc). I was considering:

HP pavilian d4100y series
Intel Pentium D 830 3.0ghz dual core processor
2GB DDR-2 - 533mhz dual channel SDRAM
250GB 7200rpm Hard Drive

Is that pc plenty, barely enough, or just plain won't cut it in your opinions? If it won't, what specs would you recomend?

Thanks,
Rob

If you plan on using 3 10-channel PCI sound cards ...

... you're going to need one very powerful computer.

What you have might just cover it.

Rob,
Your system is powerful enough without a doubt but I would suggest getting a second hard drive for your audio. Your (C) system drive can run the recording program while your writing to your audio drive. Makes for a more proficient system.

Peace
