I have used the search not only on this forum but many others and can't find the answers I am looking. Hopefully you guys can help me out.
I am wanting to get a patch bay to connect and route through to my digi002, but i am unsure on how to incorporate a patch bay with my 002.
To my understanding if I connect all of my I/O's on the 002 to the patch bay and do the same for my outboard gear. And lets say I want to go out of output 1 on the 002 to a compressor back to input 1 on the 002 this would create a loop back. Am I wrong and this scenario will work just fine or would I have to route to another open I/O on the 002 in order to avoid the possible loop back? And If I do have to route to a different I/O is there a way I can do this with out cutting down on the number of mics/tracks that I can have plugged in and record at once?
