I am mixing a short demo e.p. I recorded for the band I play with. I recorded the horn section,1 trumpet and 1 trombone the other night with 2 GT l.d. mics set to cardiod,x-y'd in stereo with the horns back about 6 feet forming a roughly equilateral triangle with the mics. I was running 2-3 takes on each tune to get plenty of stuff to work with edit wise. I didn't realize it at the time,but on one tune,the crafty devils played one take that was harmonies to the parts that they were playing,so I have in effect 4 horn parts with the two players standing in exactly the same spots on exactly the same mics.How would you try panning this?
