I am looking at purchasing a Line 6 POD xt or a Vox ToneLab LE and was wondering what you use and why it works for you. I am going to use it just for recording Country and Roots Rock Tunes. I have single coil and dual coil guitars. If you have another suggestion that would be great too, any help would be appreciated.

I've got the Tonelab SE and I'm very happy with it. I haven't ever plugged into a LE, but I think it does have the digital out (unlike the SE), which might be nice for recording. If the circuit is anything like the SE or the ADVT series, it'll benefit from replacing the stock 12AX7 tube with a lower power cousin, like a 12AT7 or 12AU7 (I've got a 12AU7 in my SE now)
