Ok so I have the original mbox and pro tools 8 le. I have just started using it basically because for forever I couldnt get it to work. Im currently using a USB mic and mixcraft to actually record because pro tools never works. Anyways, under devices (i have windows 7 64 bit) the mbox is listed as "unspecified." Does that mean I need a driver for it or something?
This is my first time using any sort of audio interface so I dont know whats typical and whats not. Under the volume mixer in windows it is also not listed anywhere either. Is that normal? I would assume it should be there to figure out the settings and whatnot but it isnt.
Please ANY advice is greatly appreciated. Its really frustrating not being able to use all of it considering I wasted so much money
