Orgy ( and not the good kind your thinking about)

When Orgy redid the song Blue Monday...they have some very synth sounding guitars on the tune.....It sounds to me like they are probably using a Roland VG-8....

Does anyone know what they are using......can I get this sound without a VG-8...it sounds like they might have a pre-delay or something....I'm not really an expert on effects.....

BTW I really hate this mod-synth shit as musch as you guys do...but I have a whining keyboard player in my band who says we never play anything cool for him......

It doesn't have to be exact just somehting to help me fake it.......Thanx

Amir from orgy uses a bunch of old synths, mostly set on stings and others sounds accesable by a keyboardist.
Ryan uses a very processed guitar. A rough and gritty machine like sound, which you can obtain.
Actually the synth part is really small on that version of blue monday. Amir plays very similar to the main guitar part during a solo/break down part. I hope this helps.
