Opinions on Stanton for simple use?

As mentioned in a couple forums, I'm rebuilding my living room stereo from various components to try for something a little more visually interesting and modular than the standard stack-of-boxes approach.

There's a bunch of Stanton mixers being phased out right now, and the prices are hard to beat for what they SEEM to offer. The RM-22 seems to offer everything I'd need, basically a lot of stereo lines in for a CD player, shortwave, etc. etc.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I'll basically just be routing a bunch of components, everything from a record player to my MiniDisc to a shortwave radio to an old reel-to-reel, through it. Fade up, fade down. My criteria are basically that it won't start to smoke after three days and that the fidelity on the signal is pretty good from in to out.

Given those limited needs, will Stantons stand up?
