ok mynewtune is up please checkout

oh my.... that vocalist HAS to go........ that's awful!

(And I'm a fan of XTC and The Violent Femmes, so it's not as if I'm not familiar with dissonant vocals!)
The recording sounds like it's been pushed way too far into the red zone too... and not in a good way!... did you overuse some sort of tape saturation plug-in???

Lose the graininess, ditch the vocalist, and you might be onto something!

Uhm,..........
Wow, The tunes are very nice, reminds me a bit of Kraftwerk.

The vox- hmmm, and this is just my opinion- if this guy wants to sing, for starters- he's trying to hard to sound like someone- Maybe the Femmes, maybe Robert Smith, I'm not sure, anyway doesn't matter . . .

He needs to find his own voice. Even spoken word sampling would sound better. The weird noises at the end were cool. The vocalists is singing to hard to compensate for something, possibly inadequate recording levels, possibly the lack of effects, anyway . . .

Here's a great column for any vocalist who wants to improve- Here's the coach who's credentials speak for themself- Mark Baxter-
http://www.getsigned.com/rebaxt46.html

Book and video are available also.

If the vocalists is serious at practicing, the improvements could be staggering using Marks tips and techniques in a rather short time.

To sum it all up-

Music- The music is well played and orchestrated and would really benefit with better recording techniques - That's why you're at this address- right?;)

Vox- Don't give up, just get some lessons and find your own voice.

Keep rockin'!

I personally like the choice of sounds.

THe lead arpegiated sound gets quite harsh though.

Sounds like it would work great in a game.

As for the vocal, what bruce said is pretty much on point.

The music (beats) are cool----but mixed really bad........ The vocals are in desperate need brutha....... I can't even begin to explain all the things wrong................ Not just sitting in the song but lyrics-mood-melody-nuthin really fits the beat right.........IMO

I thought the synth stuff rocked. And the vocals were in the same style as other tunes you've done. Definitely not in the popular vein for Western ears, but so what?

he beat me to the punch with the above comments...except I'm not a fan of XTC and the Femmes. I'd add the drums are in a different sound quality range than the synths...

I personally don't find this musically inovative, but just a rupture of knob twiddling.

thnxfor all comments
to be honest
this song is about climax
ialways have feeling that infinity is just in our minds
in special occasions we can stop it or see beyond it
so i tried toarouse myself into sexual emotion by wqatching japanese pornflicks then captured my mood
maybe my attempt failed?

Man you reviewers need to get out of the sports bars more often, this shit was cool!

Nice job istyle. Your vocals remind me a bit of Brian Ferry, cool. This tune I think was very innovative and ballsy. Nice sounds. There is definitely a few things you could improve on in the mix and recording, though. The sounds are all over the place and have a hard time coming together...the chaos is cool, but I'm venturing to guess that if you were able to pull the thing together with a touch of compression/ room verb, you might be in a little better shape, I dunno. But you definitely have something here. Don't listen to these other people, all they rate high is Gospel music, blues, and heavy metal.;)

I am sorry if what I may have said came across harsh!:(
Didn't mean to, if I did. I try real hard to encourage everyone who has potential and there is potential. It seems you have a good attitude about the whole thing, and that's 98% of the battle.:)
Keep working on your craft and don't let anyone stop you!

Cheers!

Bluelot2 is right too
on me trying to push too hard to compensate
i still have problem singing popstyle
after i learned it from Seth Rigg's student
i neglected my old rockyelling style for a while
trying to sing as " popstar"
but this singing delivers lesser volume comparing to the latter
so when i add more gain it will pickup more floornoise in the track
when i record at optimal level i have to push to sing louder and have a cracked one
i'm still experimenting, maybe should use condensermic instead?
any more helpful tip?
thnx
