This is the first time i tried recordeing my own band on my computer.

http://www.nowhereradio.com/theblackbeauties/singles

I enginered and played at the same time.

The thing is i set the god damned thing at 16 bit.

I may or may not redo the whole thing. We did 15 songs live and added vocals after.

Is this total shit or can i save this???????

please help!

the rod,
shut up. this stuff sounds good. I listen to the last one. sounds good to me, but you'll find out that I don't know that much about mixing stuff. But I like the song and the picking.

dtb

oh yeah, welcome to the show. he he he he

Hey DTB,
thanks for the welcome.

This shit is drivin' me crazy.
im not sure how it translates (?)
to what other everyone else hears.
the guys in my band give no help.

dont know if we should redo everything because we were all pretty tanked , and cant use all the tracks we did for a full length lp or take some of the usable shit for a 7"

IVE BEEN DWELLING ON THIS TOOO LONG.;)

I need outside input
thanks,
rod

HA HA!

My girlfriend and I have already been listening to your stuff!!

I think it's great and the style of music is actually done justice by the raw recording, in my opinion. I think it's great stuff all the way around and if you do get better and better at recording, never lose the EDGE!

One more thing...........

.....Don't redo it!

If you are doing a 7 inch....use what you have....I mean, get the best couple of tracks mastered for volume and punch and release it as is. Don't second guess, man, it's real deal stuff!

All right then,

Im not gonna kill myself over this.

I was hopin' for a full lenghth but a 7 would be cool.

I worked live sound for a while and this is the first time i ever did shit with nearfield monitors and the whole game.

Live I just play it by ear , but sittin at home i get tooo critical.

thanks Heylow -n- Sonny
