Seems like Im cursed! 
I failed to mention before that I was wiring all the stuff I asked about to jacks on a steel plate.
I'm not sure but I think I'm facing a ground loop........
Everything hms when connected on the steel plate but when I just plug stuff in its humming.
Does this sound like a ground loop?
How does one fix it?
