odd hi-freq spikes

I've been looking at some wav files with a spectrum analyser. In all files that I've created there are 3 spikes - 23.9Khz, 35 kHz, and 47kHz.
You can see an example here:

They are there whether the input is condensor mike or guitar pickup. Signal chain is RNP into an Audiophile 2496.
Anyone know what they are?

By the looks of it .... it's recorded at 96kHz.
What's causing them ..... I have no clue but you would pry need to ask a dog or maybe a bat what they sound like. Most of us mortals can't hear much over 20kHz.

I know that's not of much help, but I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you can hear it.

recorded at 96

yep, recorded at 96. 2 of those spikes seem to be close to multiples of 96,000:
23.9 x 4 = 95.6
47.8 x 2 = 95.6
Does anyone else see stuff like this when they record at 96? Maybe I'll move the card to another slot. I'm worried that there are other multiples further down in the audible section buried in the signal.
( I should'a never looked  )
