Does anyone use an octive pedal to record Acoustic Guitar?
I just picked on up and set it so that it throws a low octave on the low E string.
Give the guitar a nice bassy punch that I've yet to find any other way.
I buddy of mine recorded an album and the acoustic guitar was so fat and up front... so I asked him how he did it. He said the engineer blended an octive on his guitar to fatten it up... so I ran right out and grabbed the Boss Octave pedal.
It sounds great live, but I haven't grabbed anything to disk with it yet.
Can't wait.
