Hey I kind of asked this question before but have some new q's about it.

I was given a Roll of this http://www.owenscorning.com/commins...asp?product=289. Its made to line ducts in comercial buildings.
Now I realize its not OC 703 at 2" and its probably now good for bass traping but I was wondering if I can use it for atleast some control over reflections or if I was to layer it(it 0.5" but could be layered to whatever) would it have some simular effects? or if I could use it for backwall absorbtion behind me?
It is a compressed fiberglass........

It was free so I dont wanna just waiste it. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

hey blaze, link is bad. but if it is rigid fiberglass I bet you can layer it until you
get the thicknesss you need. I just layered some 3/4 thick glass until it was
4" thick, seems to be serving my purposes.
cheers

Might do OK for reflections if doubled or tripled. It would largely depend on what kind of barrier is on it. Most commercial duct linings have a facing/barrier on it. If it's a somewhat porous one, it might be OK - similar to Linacoustic.
