Nuendo 3 + Firepod issue

Hey.

I have Nuendo 3.2 and a Firepod and i'm getting a wierd new problem. When i play a song on nuendo (even just one track with no effects) the CPU usage twitches up and there are random clicking noises.

I have the latest drivers for everything. This never happened before. I recorded 2 whole albums one weekend with no problems.

This is very very frustrating.
 
Did ya get that thing from microsoft if ya using sp2? Probably not the problem but thats the only solution ive come across for problems with the firepod.
