Now that's what a rock band's supposed to look like

I saw Grand Funk during their heyday, probably on the Closer To Home tour. They were on the bill with Bloodrock as an opener, and while GFR was very good, I thought Blookrock absolutely KILLED it! I becasme an instant fan.

Our band played quite a few GFR songs, but I would have loved to be able to cover some Bloodrock.

My brother had one of Bloodrock's albums. I remember liking it. White cover with Bloodrock written in stars and stripes if I remember right.

Yup. Found it.

I was only exposed to one Bloodrock tune - D.O.A. (1970). I thought it was a cool song, if a little depressing. Kind of a novelty tune along with The Buoys' Timothy (1971), also a little depressing. I didn't buy into those bands because I was in my first "real" band doing Chicago and BS&T - bigger band stuff. Lots of Motown also.
