Not recognizing certain WAV's

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a timing cue project for work and for some reason Reaper is not recognizing some of my .wav files. Other wav's work fine in Reaper, and the "faulty" ones will play in Windows Media player - but there is no sound in Reaper. I am enclosing a link to the wav's so you can see for yourself.

Hm, if you right-click the WAV files and go to "Properties" then "Summary" tab, it shows the audio format as "CCITT u-Law". They should probably be in PCM format.

I used a program called NCH SwiftSound to convert them all to PCM at one time, here you go:
