Non-condenser mic on phantom power

I just got a Samson Mixpad 9, and supposedly it has phantom power on all the time, so can I use dynamic (non condenser) mics? I've gotten myself a bit worried here. (Although I only have 1 mic right now :))
 
Phantom power will not damage a dynamic mic (not even a ribbon mic so don't go there) unless the mic is already damaged or wired incorrectly.
 
Just make sure Phantom Power os OFF when connecting both ends of the cable.
Once they're all connected, turn it ON.
