No USB

The computer I am using to run Reason does not have a USB input. I have a Audiophile 2496 sound card. I wanted to get a controller/small keyboard to use in Reason, I am only looking to spend 100$-150$. Do all Midi controllers require a USB port? what are my options??

It seems highly unlikely that you don't have at least two USB ports, but you know best.

The other way to get midi data into a computer is by adding a midi port, then using a midi cable from your controller to your computer.

The audiophile 24/96 has midi ports. All you need is a controller that has midi in/out.

You do already have midi i/o, but if you do ever want to get USB its dirt cheap these days. You can pick up a USB i/o card with three plugs for $15 bux.
