Alllright...

I'll swallow my pride and post this under the newbie section

When I plug a condensor mic into my Firepod, all I get is humming. enough to drive up the VU meters on my recording software.

Have the 48v button pushed in on the Firepod, have switched mic cords, nothing changed.

Anyone have an answer?

If you have access to one, try a different mic. Is there a LED on the firepod that indicates whether phantom is on or not?

Hmm, have you tried using the mic on another piece of equipment (If possible) Tried using a different mic on the firepod? What software are you using?

You're using an XLR-XLR cable? You plugged the mic into the XLR-input correct?
