New Track options??

Is it possible to when creating a new track, copy all the settings from the previous track?

For instance, I find myself tracking several different guitars or keys all with the same setup (same I/O)... it'd be nice if I could hold SHIFT or CNTRL or something and it would keep the same I/O from the previous track.

Is something like that possible?

Highlight the track and choose Track > Clone.

However, it will also copy anything you have recorded on the track (which you can prevent by unchecking "clone events" from the dialogue window).
