Hi, I recently bought a M-audio Mobile pre-bus and a standard mic, cheap one, it's a NADY SP-1, mostly due to my budget (student) well my question is this. I don't know how to record vocals to both channels. When my mic is plugged into channel 1 XLR and I'm singing and what not, it only records on the left channel. Is this normal? Is there anyway possible that I can record in both the left and right channels at the same time with the stuff I have right now? Thank you for any feedback,
-Steve

ADDED: Im using Adobe Audition for recording.

In audition, make sure you are recording on a mono channel/track. In the mobilepre software, there should also be an option to select mono recording. That should do it.
