New to Fruity Loops

I'm trying to use fruity loops to make beats, but quite frankly I suck. What's the best way other than practice (lol) to get better? Thanks.

lol I know....I just wish I had some sample beats to learn from, because I dont know how to create the sounds I'm thinking of in my head.
