New song from a newbie. Please lend me your ears!

Nice guitar tone. Nice groove, has a kind of Steely Dan feel to it. I liked the mix, thought everything had nice space and the sound was definitly filled out. Dont have much bad to say about this one. The doubled vox during the chorus was more noticeable than I would have liked. The lead guitar got a little boring by the end. Loved the organ. Nice song, keep it up!
 
Thanks for the response! I need all the help I can get. I have been only mixing for about 4 months now so much work is needed.
 
I think the guitar sounds a tad on the "tin side" (Are you using a stratocaster by chance?) I think a little more middle and slightly less trebble would help the lead tone, I'd encourage you to play around with it. I really like the melody of the song, and the mix is good overall! I agree with the double vocals in the chorus comment posted above.
