new setup with omni studio

I'm just beginning getting a recording setup together and was considering purchasing an m-audio omni studio off of ebay for between 300-400 dollars. I was just curious as to whether this is a good choice for a setup in this price range that has two mic preamps line ins and outs, etc.

My machine that I will have in the next couple of months will be:

Athlon XP 2800+
512MB Kingston DDR
Asus A7N8X motherboard
DVD Burner
CD Burner
40 GB Western Digital hd for windows and programs
160GB Western Digital special edition with the 8MB cache for audio and other video files

I think that's it.

The Omni Studio is a great unit....unless you need more inputs than waht it has, Im sure you will be satisfied with the performance.
