New rock song.... Mix critique needed please

Sounds really good. I guess the mix is a little bright for my taste...but there is nothing wrong with that.

One thing I noticed is, the guitars are kind of messy. Too much gain on them, so it lacks a little bit of clarity, IMO. If you could back of the gain on that distortion a little bit you could get a little bit more clarity.
 
Lip smack at 0:20 before the second line.

The "string" tones are kind of interesting. They're kind of video-gamey (like something you'd hear in FF VI), I like it, but don't know if it matches the theme.

Drums are a little buried until the guitars kick in.

Pretty good mix overall. Lush and complex.
 
Oh no..... The strings sound like a video game????? I've failed then!! They are actually East West strings.... The more prominent one are solo version. I thought they sounded great. ...oh well.

The crunchy guitars I actually like. I could've made this song sound a lot more pop but felt it had enough pop.
