Hello people
Me and my band we're building our first "studio"..
Its not really big but in short term we dont wanna record professional records there, just practise and eventually record amateur tracks.
At this stage, our biggest problem is insulation. My plan is to stick rockwool to the walls and then apply a 2nd wall made of wood. Do you think it will be ok? I dont need complete insulation, I just want it to be possible to not disturb the neighbours on the other side of the street very much. Then I would stick cork to the wood wall.
We're planning to build a double wall where the wooden roof ends, so the studio will be only under the wooden roof.
And another thing, I heard that the rockwool can be harmful to our health, what do you think? and how should I apply it?
