New pickups on mexi strat

Would it be worth the buy to purchase some better pickups for my mexican strat, i was thinking about the cobalt custom shops from fender, or would it just be a better move to get a whole new guitar completley. The tone on the pickups i have now is so-so, but they are very noisy in the 3rd 5th and 1st position, and that makes it very hard to record with them if im micing my amp. I know that the other pickups would be noiseless but how much would they improve my overall tone?

Would it be worth it to buy new pickups from Fender? No, not at all, they suck.

New pickups from Lindy Fralin, Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio (if it's a Virtual Vintage), Lolar, or Joe Barden? I don't know, do you like the way it plays? If so, then very possibly, unless of course you want your strat to sound like a Les Paul, in which case you should just buy a Les Paul (or whatever other guitar that isn't a Strat you are looking for).
